Just a few minutes from Espelette, the Itxassou Gliding Center offers visitors the chance to explore the region from the sky. Perched on Urzumu Hill, the club offers panoramic views of the Pyrenees peaks and the Atlantic Ocean, in one of the most popular gliding sites in southwestern France.<\/p>\n

First-time flights and introductory flights<\/b><\/h2>\n

The club offers introductory glider flights accompanied by an experienced pilot, as well as training for those who wish to learn to fly. The center is generally open in the afternoon on Wednesdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, as well as during the month of August.<\/p>\n
